Finality

"Deaconess Health Center employee Charlie Reigelman spends a moment to ponder his last delivery of food as a member of the dietary staff.  After 36 years as a Deaconess employee, Reigelman retired on June 3, 2010."

When I asked what he would miss the most about his job, Charlie said the people.

Charlie has been working at the Deaconess Health Center for longer than I have been alive, which is quite an accomplishment in my eyes.  However, I and several of his employees had a feeling that he wouldn't be gone too long.

He is mentally disabled, yet is able to function just like any normal human being, and has the pictures to prove it.

According to a few nurses, Charlie has pictures with every single Hooters employee in Buffalo and was able to get back stage for multiple plays at the famous Shea's performing arts center.

Quite the man.
