Two weeks ago on February 20, 2010 I shot the annual spring concert at Fairfield University. The acts included Eve 6, Kat Deluna and Sean Kingston.
But what I will remember most from the show were the DJs. Not only were they great, but they also contacted me after the show to get photos from me.
I am sometimes weary of giving away my photos for free, but to a fellow creative artist, I often break my own rule.
These guys, DJ NASTY NAZ (Sean Kingston's DJ) and DJ SPYNFO (concert DJ) both wanted photos of themselves in action during the concert, and I kindly obliged.
Here comes the lesson.
Always shoot everything whenever covering an event because you never know who will want photos. Regardless of whether or not to charge them, if it's not too much work to tone and edit photos, getting your name out it far more important.
