Last Tuesday my editor told me to get a picture of the health center. Why? Students are in an uproar (too strong) because the health center will no longer be open 24 hours.
What a ridiculous decision.
Well, at least every other hospital in the area will be open when an emergency happens at 2 a.m.
Might be too late though.
Maybe charge us more tuition to pay the nurses. Oh wait, we are already charged enough.
I thought this frame, which was shot from a car, portrayed the dismal feeling of being sick at night and not being able to get access to proper health care.
Let's hope things turn around.
THIS ONE TIME last year I went to the health center on a Saturday night at like 1am ... not because I was sick from drinking, because I did not drink that night, but because I thought my appendix burst. That would have sucked if it was closed and I didn't have a car to drive to the hospital, WOULD IT NOT?
