Sunrises: My Take

I love watching the sunrise.  It's epic and you're usually watching it for an epic reason.

Problem is, I'm not the biggest fan of taking pictures of sunrises.  They're just too cliche.  

When my friends and I decided to pull an all-nighter a few weeks ago, they forced me to bring my camera.

I met them half-way.  No SLR, just a pocket camera.

Fine by me.  It's lighter and still produces killer images.

Well to my pleasant surprise (i.e. the frame above), I did get some winners.  However, take notice, the frame I like the most (above) does not show the sun, it just shows the absolutely raw light it produces.

Cause I mean seriously, who wants to stare straight into the sun - that just hurts.

So please, find more than cliche images to spare the world of the same old boring junk.
